Our Mission: Simply enhance child safety one household at a time.
Peter and Angie are the parents of two curious and adventurous sons. They know how much energy it takes to raise kids!
Peter is a psychologist who takes the job of being a dad seriously. Angie is a corporate recruiter and knows that being a parent means always accounting for the many details of child rearing. They know the playdates, school lunches, tantrums, chores, college funds, safety, and cleaning (oh, the constant cleaning!). After stepping on a “safety” plug, One detail of safety they couldn’t make sense of? How often those cheap outlet plugs are not put back. So often, dangerous outlets are exposed and choking hazards are left around the house!
The National Fire Protection Association estimates that approximately 89% of all injuries caused by electrical outlets happen to children under the age of six. Each year, thousands of children suffer severe shock and burns after sticking small objects into electrical outlets causing unnecessary trauma, hospital visits and deaths. Additionally, The International Associate of Child Safety warns that the solo outlet covers are a major choking hazard for small children. “We all know the cheap, hard, white plastic plug covers filling up everyone’s junk drawer, forgotten to be returned to the electrical outlet, becoming a fun toy for babies and young children. This leaves the outlets exposed and dangerous.” said Angie.
